Hugs exist for sharing
Holding, caring too
That is why we offer them
When one is feeling blue

Hugs are all encompassing
Enveloping you they show
How lovingly you're thought of
So you will always know

You catch them and you feel at once
That we are all a part
Of something that connects us
A global, loving heart

How willingly we share them
With friends and strangers too
Reflects the love that multiplies
In banks where hugs accrue

To give a hug is worldly
To receive a hug divine
To share the love inside ones soul
Is to see the grand design
